By the end of the year is it valuable to make a retrospective summary of the last year and start a fresh new year after New Year.

My thoughts after a number of large projects during the recent four years, all with different outcomes are very plain and simple.

If you would like to succeed with a large program there are some lessons learned over and over again.

- You need a sponsor with a clear problem
- You need a business value that is higher the the cost of the program
- You need to have a clear scope and set the requirements that solves the problem
